Jerry Mire Brown, born on September 7, 1940, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2025. A beloved figure to many, Jerry's life was characterized by his deep love for the outdoors and his strong connection to family.
Throughout his life, Jerry found joy in the simple pleasures of being outside, particularly in the country. He cherished time spent at the farm and had a passion for hunting, as well as caring for horses. These interests were not just hobbies, but rather an integral part of who he was, shaping his character and leaving a lasting imprint on those who knew him.
Jerry is survived by his devoted daughter, Kathy (Robert) Lawrence. He also leaves behind a legacy of love through his three grandchildren: Amanda (Anthony) Arnold, Clayton (Stephanie) Lawrence, and Adam (Leah) Lawrence. His great-grandchildren—Jacob Lawrence, Jason Lawrence, Lucas Arnold, Lane Arnold, Weston Lawrence, and Magnolia Lawrence—were a source of great pride and joy, further enriching his life.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mae Brown, and father, Huey Brown, as well as his wife, Margaret Brown, and a daughter, Lisa Kay Brown. Their memories live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
Family and friends are invited to honor Jerry's memory at Newcomer Funeral Home in St. Peters, Missouri. A visitation will be held on December 6, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM, followed by a funeral service beginning at 11:30 AM. He will then be laid to rest at St. Charles Memorial Gardens during a graveside service at 1:00 PM.
Jerry Mire Brown will be remembered not only for his love of the outdoors but also as a devoted family man whose spirit will continue to inspire all who were lucky enough to know him.
