Jettie Faye Collier, age 95, of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 in Saint Charles, Missouri. She was born in Ellington, Missouri on October 20, 1927 to John and Mary Florence Sloan (nee Potts).
Jettie loved her family fiercely and took no job as seriously as she took being a grandmother. "Grama Collier" was famous for her 7UP teddy bear pancakes and breakfast casserole with white sausage gravy. Jettie was a great softball player and the heart of her family. Jettie was a wonderful friend, keeping relationships alive from Water Tower Baptist Church, to Riverview Baptist Church, to First Baptist Church of O'Fallon, all of whom will miss her greatly.
Jettie is survived by her five grandchildren, Ashley M (Ray ) Finney of Webster Groves, MO, Craig A (Ashleigh) Collier Jr., Brittany J Collier, Chase A (Nicole ) Collier, Chad A Collier; Son, Craig A (Carlena ) Collier Sr.; Seven great-grandchildren, Roman A Finney, IV, Willow G Collier, Jonny P Shaver, Skylynn M Shaver, Jaxson A Shaver, Ryan O Collier, Mela S Collier; and a host of other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest Ardell Collier; Father, John W. Sloan; Mother Mary Florence Sloan; Two Brothers, Lovel "Jack" Sloan, and Rolla Sloan; Three Sisters, Sylvia Fears, Daisy Cox, and Katie Eller.
Funeral Ceremony will be 4:00 pm Friday, October 6, 2023 at St. Peters Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at St. Peters Chapel.
