Joan Kathryn Peters

Joan Peters, fondly known to all who loved her as a devoted mother and cherished friend, passed away on August 27, 2025 surrounded by her family. Born on February 15, 1938, in St. Louis, Missouri, Joan was a beacon of love and kindness throughout her life.

Joan dedicated herself entirely to her family, finding her greatest joy in nurturing her children and later, doting on her grandchildren.  They will fondly remember her easy going and fun-loving personality and sense of humor.

She is survived by her three loving sons: Craig Robert Peters and his wife Jennifer, Steven Lee Peters and his wife Jennifer, and Gary Alan Peters. Joan took immense joy in her role as a grandmother to her grandchildren: Andrew Robert, Rachel Anne, Jacob Matthew, Jacob Steven, Tyler Alan, and Mary Louise Peters, all of whom brought immeasurable joy to her life.

Joan's legacy also holds the memory of her beloved husband, Jack Robert Peters, who predeceased her in January, along with her brother, Donald McDonald. Their absence is felt deeply in the lives of those they left behind.

Visitation to celebrate Joan's life will take place on September 13, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home, West County, located at 2211 Clarkson Road, Chesterfield, Missouri, 63005.

Joan Kathryn Peters touched the lives of many, and her spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be profoundly missed yet forever remembered for her warm smile, unwavering love, and the beautiful memories she created with all who knew her.
