Joan K. Stucke, a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on July 12, 2025, at the age of 66. Born on September 15, 1958, Joan touched the lives of many through her selfless, kind, and loving nature.
Joan was particularly proud of her role as a mother, dedicating her life to nurturing and supporting her family. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Dicha (George) Jamerson, and her son, Carl A. (Jessica) Stucke. Her legacy continues through her two adoring grandchildren, Josiah Price and Noah Stucke, who filled her heart with immense joy and pride.
Beyond her family, Joan cherished her relationships with her siblings and extended family. She is fondly remembered by her brother, Ronald (Dee Dee) Puckett; her sister, Judith Brown; and her brother-in-law, David Graham.
Joan delighted in spending time watching movies with her family, where laughter and love flourished. She held a special affection for animals, particularly her loyal dog, Toby, who brought warmth to her days.
Her journey was also marked by the love she received from a large family. She was preceded in death by her father, George Oscar Puckett, and her mother, Wilma Ethel Puckett. Joan also mourned the loss of five sisters—Goldie Bell, Dorothy Cotten, Deanna Wells, Shirley Howell, and Linda Graham—and five brothers—Robert Puckett, Harold Puckett, William Puckett, James Puckett, and Thomas Puckett. Additionally, she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Keith Brown.
Joan’s memory will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved her. Her spirit of giving and her unwavering kindness will remain in the hearts of all she touched. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and compassion that will continue to inspire her family and friends for years to come.
