Joann Frances Duggan

Joanne Frances Duggan, née Kluempers, passed away on May 6, 2026, in O'Fallon, Missouri. Born on September 19, 1952, in St. Louis, Missouri, Joann’s journey was one marked by warmth and a deep love for the natural world around her.

For two decades, Joanne served as a bus driver with the Fort Zumbehl School District, a role in which she exercised great care and responsibility, ensuring the safety and well-being of many children daily. Her commitment to her community did not go unnoticed, and she embraced this work with a steadfast heart.

Beyond her professional life, Joanne was known for her tender affection for all animals, especially horses. Her love of the outdoors was boundless, as she found joy in camping and the serenity that nature afforded, which reflected her free-spirited personality.

Joanne is lovingly remembered by her daughter Gina (Jason) Morgan and her daughter Nicole (Mike) Lee, as well as by her son Brian (Emily) Grams. She was a proud grandmother to Katie, Cadin, Alayna, Aubrey, Genevieve, Theodore, Mable, and Walter—each carrying forward the light that Joann so generously shared. Her family circle also includes her brothers Greg, Tom, and Rich Kluempes and her sister Terry Kluempes, who mourn the passing of their sister.

She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Kluempers; her mother, Eleanor “Ellie” Kluempers née Kline; and her sister Susan.

The community will gather to honor Joann’s memory with a visitation at Newcomer Funeral Home in St. Peters, Missouri, located at 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, on May 14, 2026, from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm. This gathering will serve as a poignant moment to celebrate Joann’s life, sharing stories she leaves behind.
