JoHannah Marie Caravelli, a woman whose spirit could light up a room, passed away on February 25, 2026, in St. Louis, Missouri. Born on November 27, 1983, in Rolla, Missouri, JoHannah was known for her audacious personality—a smart aleck with a well-deserved reputation for being intimidating in debates. To say she was a force of nature would be an understatement; she took forever to get ready, but we all knew the grand reveal was always worth the wait!

JoHannah was adored by her loving husband, Joey Caravelli, who often marveled at just how lucky he was to have the stunning JoHannah by his side. Their 19 years of marriage and 24-year relationship—dating back to their early days in 2002—were a testament to their unwavering love. Together they created a beautiful life filled with laughter, love, and two exceptional sons, Ashton and Abel, who proudly take after their mother in both creativity and spirit. She devoted countless hours to her boys, often engaging in art projects alongside them and theming decorations to match their interests, ensuring that every holiday was a memorable occasion. She was especially known for her Halloween costumes, which never failed to impress.

Her devotion didn’t stop at motherhood; JoHannah was fiercely loving and attentive while also ensuring that discipline was served generously—after all, someone had to keep those boys in line! With a humorous side that kept everyone laughing, her family and friends will remember her as “fun always fun,” a phrase that perfectly encapsulates her vivacious personality.

JoHannah’s artistic talents shone through not only in her holiday decorations but also in her many imaginative Halloween creations. Each year, she seemed to outdo herself, steering her family into a world of whimsy and creativity, where ghosts and goblins reigned supreme—something her youngest son, Abel, continues to delight in.

Survived by her loving husband Joey, her sons Ashton and Abel, her devoted father Robert (Jeanne) Voss, and siblings Rebekah (David) Ellis, Amber Brazell, Ben (Carolyn) Voss, and Madeline (Vince) Heacock. JoHannah leaves a legacy of love and laughter. She also leaves behind her brother-in-law Michael Caravelli, sister-in-law Melissa Kuethe, her niece Piper Ellis, and nephews Blake Ellis, Dominic Ellis, Jackson Voss, Easton Voss, Cameron Caravelli and Oscar Heacock, along with countless other family members and friends who were enriched by her presence.

Though her mother, Robin Voss, and niece, Jaylynn Kuethe, have preceded JoHannah in death, we can only imagine the joyful reunion taking place now. The absence of JoHannah will be felt deeply by everyone who knew her, yet her legacy of love, humor, and indomitable spirit will reverberate through the lives she touched.
