John devoted 42 years of his career to Printpak before retiring, exemplifying the work ethic that was a hallmark of his character. He was not just a dedicated employee; he was also a mentor and friend to many, always willing to lend a hand or share a kind word. His caring nature extended into every facet of his life, as he truly never met a stranger.
A proud veteran, John honorably served in the United States Army from 1966 to 1970. His commitment to service did not end with his military tenure; he carried the values of integrity and respect throughout his life, impacting those around him positively.
John cherished the simple pleasures in life, especially moments spent with his wife, Carol Jarvis. Together, they found joy in watching Blues Hockey, whether in the comfort of their own home or at the arena, creating memories that will be cherished by all who knew him. His love for family was immeasurable, and he took great pride in being a father and grandfather.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Carol, his sons John (Tera) Jarvis, Dan (Christy) Stumpe, and Jeff (Verita) Stumpe, along with six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren who will forever remember him for his warmth, wisdom, and endless love.

Visitation will be held on December 7, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, St. Peters, located at 837 Mid Rivers Mall Dr, St. Peters, MO 63376.
