John Jennings

John Jennings passed away on September 20, 2026, at the age of 83.

He will be remembered as a man of strong faith, a quality that stood as the cornerstone of his life. John also found joy in simple and familiar pleasures. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, enjoyed watching Westerns, and liked looking at muscle cars. Above all, he loved spending time with his family, and those moments shared with the people closest to him will remain a lasting part of his memory.

John is survived by his wife, Sharon Jennings. He also leaves behind his sons, Brian Jennings and his wife, Ann, and Scott Jennings and his wife, Tracy. His family also includes his grandchildren, Tom Nickelson, Jess Hill, Shelby Jennings, Tyler Jennings, and Sadie Jennings. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, and his family will continue to cherish the love, faith, and presence he brought into their lives.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Maurice Jennings; his mother, Hilda Jennings; his brother, Jimmy Jennings; and his sister, Patsy Mueller.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on October 3, 2026, at Newcomer Funeral Home, St. Peters, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Dr, St Peters, Missouri 63376. A memorial service will begin at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A luncheon will follow at PFEM Hall & Banquet Center, 115 McMenamy Rd, St Peters, Missouri 63376.

John Jennings will be remembered with love and gratitude for the life he lived, the faith he carried, and the family he held dear.
