Ellisville, Missouri

Juliet Jean Johnson a cherished soul and beloved mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 17, 2025, in Ellisville, Missouri. Born on February 25, 1943, in Hutchinson, Kansas, she was a radiant presence in the lives of all who knew her.

Juliet pursued her education at Wichita State University, where she earned a degree in Education. She brought not only knowledge but also warmth and kindness into her roles as a mother and grandmother.

As a beautiful person, uniquely spiritually inclined, Juliet found great joy in volunteering and dedicated her time to serving her community. Her passions extended to flower gardening, as well as reading, attending Church, and engaging in Bible studies. These interests illustrated her nurturing spirit and her desire to explore and connect with the world around her.

Juliet’s proudest accomplishments were her children and grandchildren. She served as a cornerstone of love and support for her family, and leaves behind her loving daughter, Jennifer Lynn (Stephen) Abbate, and her son, Jeffrey Kenneth (Adelaide) Johnson. The love she poured into her family is echoed in the hearts of her grandchildren: Stephen Kenneth Abbate, Thomas Michael Abbate, and Grace Adelaide Johnson. They were her pride and joy, and her legacy will undoubtedly live on through them.

She is lovingly remembered by her family, who draw comfort from the beautiful memories they shared, and her warm spirit will forever echo in their hearts. Juliet’s memory will also be cherished by those who feel the loss of the love, guidance, and grace she imparted throughout her life.

Juliet is preceded in death by her parents, Roscoe Coyne and Bernice Coyne, and by her brothers, Donald Coyne and Michael Coyne. The bonds of family are never truly broken, and she will be welcomed into the arms of those who have gone before her.

As we reflect on the life of Juliet Jean Johnson, we remember a woman who embodied beauty, love, and devotion. Her spirit will continue to inspire those she left behind, motivating them to live with the same kindness and dedication that defined her life.

Services will be private. Juliet will be laid to rest in Sterling, Kansas with her parents and family.
