Julieta Jumangit Resol, born on May 11, 1948, in Manila, Philippines, passed away on September 23, 2026, in St. Peters, Missouri.

Julieta lived a life marked by devotion to others, especially through her calling as an educator. She began teaching at the age of 19 and continued for close to 30 years, shaping young lives with patience, wisdom, and care. She also earned her Master's Degree from the University of Philippines, a meaningful achievement that reflected her commitment to learning and to the vocation she loved so deeply. In the Philippines, she taught at Ateneo, a private Catholic school, and later continued her work in Queens, New York. Teaching was not only her profession, but one of the great joys of her life. 

Beyond the classroom, Julieta brought warmth and creativity to everything she did. She loved to sing and dance, found happiness in scrapbooking, flower arranging, and arts and crafts. Her personal faith and love of teaching extended into Sunday School, where she continued to guide and encourage others. 

She was loving, caring, and thoughtful. She never knew a stranger. Julieta had a thoughtful heart and a special gift for making people feel remembered and cherished. She seemed to know just the right present to give, and she always remembered everyone's birthdays. These quiet acts of kindness became part of the lasting impression she left on all who knew her.

Of all the blessings in her life, Julieta was especially proud of her daughter and grandchildren, who were her greatest accomplishments and deepest joy.

She is survived by her daughter, Jolina Martin and her husband Steve; her grandchildren, Alex and Jacob; her brother, Jose "Joey" Jumangit and his wife Roselle; her nephews, Dennis and Angelo; her niece, Joella and many other extended family members who will carry her memory forward with love. Her family was at the center of her heart, and the love she gave them will remain a lasting gift.

Julieta was preceded in death by her husband, Edgardo Resol; her parents, Nicholas and Arsenia Jumangit; and her siblings, Jesse, Jaime, Juanito, Joel and Jennifer Jumangit.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, St. Peters, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Dr, St Peters, MO 63376. A second visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Newcomer Funeral Home, St. Peters, followed by a funeral service from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.

Julieta Jumangit Resol will be remembered for her generous spirit, her thoughtfulness, and the many lives she touched as a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, teacher, and friend.
