Karen Pellman, a beloved matriarch and dedicated professional, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2025, in Bridgeton, Missouri, surrounded by her loved ones. Born on March 19, 1957, in St. Louis, Missouri, Karen grew up to become a remarkable woman known for her strength, warm spirit, and deep love for her family.

Karen enjoyed a lengthy and fulfilling career at Target, where she worked diligently for 19 years before retiring. Her dedication to her job was paralleled only by her commitment to her family, whom she cherished above all else. She has left behind a legacy of loyalty, strength, and compassion that will always be remembered.

A graduate of McCluer North High School, Karen pursued her passion for beauty by attending cosmetology school to become a hairstylist. This journey not only reflected her artistic abilities but also allowed her to connect with countless individuals throughout her life.

Remembered as one of the strongest individuals her loved ones knew, Karen had an affectionate way of making those around her feel valued and appreciated. She had a deep love for her grandchildren, Vinny and Dominic Costello, whose laughter and joy were her constant source of inspiration. Her family remained her proudest accomplishment, a sentiment she expressed frequently.

Karen had a passion for cooking and baking, often indulging her sweet tooth with delightful treats. She also enjoyed bird watching and had a penchant for jigsaw puzzles, which provided her both relaxation and enjoyment. Traveling brought her immense joy, particularly trips she took with her beloved husband of 46 years, Gary Pellman, as they explored the beauty of the United States. The couple often made cherished memories at the beach, where she delighted in collecting seashells.

In addition to her immediate family, Karen will be deeply missed by many friends and extended relatives whose lives she touched with her kindness and unwavering support. She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Reed, who undoubtedly played a significant role in shaping the wonderful person Karen became.
