Karen Ann Strelow, born on November 19, 1952, was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She departed this life on November 4, 2025, leaving behind a legacy characterized by her deep Christian faith and the love she shared with her family and community.
A devoted participant in her church, Karen found immense joy in engaging with her faith. She was an active member of her bible study group and treasured her time spent with fellow churchgoers. Known as a prayer warrior, she dedicated herself to praying for anyone in need, showcasing her compassion and commitment to her beliefs.
Karen was also an accomplished cook, finding satisfaction in preparing meals that brought family and friends together. However, her greatest joy came from her role as a grandmother. She cherished every moment spent with her grandkids, Ava and Henry Strelow, nurturing them with love and affection.
Karen is survived by her son, Jonathan (Kathy) Strelow; her grandchildren, Ava Strelow and Henry Strelow; her sister, Susan (Phil) Strantz; two brothers, Kevin (Cil) Jackson and Michael (Susan) Jackson; her sister-in-law, Lisa Jackson; and a host of other family members and friends who will remember her fondly.
A visitation will be held in her honor on November 14, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Harvester Christian Church - St. Charles Campus, located at 2950 Kings Xing, St. Charles, MO 63303. A memorial service is scheduled for November 15, 2025, at 10:00 AM, also at the same location, refreshment and fellowship to follow.
She was preceded in death by her father, Wayne Jackson; her mother, Vera Jackson; and her brother, Eric Jackson. Karen's impact on the lives of those around her will be cherished and remembered as a shining example of love, faith, and kindness.
