Kari D. Williams, a cherished member of the Saint Charles community, passed away on February 22, 2026, in St. Louis, Missouri, surrounded by the warmth and love that she had shared so freely throughout her life. Born on January 5, 1964, in St. Charles, Missouri, she grew into a beloved figure, known for her unwavering kindness and vibrant spirit.
Kari was a graduate of St. Charles High School in 1982, setting down roots in the community where she would become one of its most well-known and adored servers. She served up countless smiles, laughs, and the warmth of genuine connection. Kari had an innate ability to make everyone feel seen and special, and her infectious joy and laugh was the highlight of many gatherings.
Kari was deeply passionate about sewing and quilting, crafting beautiful pieces with love and care. She had a profound appreciation for nature and could often be found tending to her garden as a reflection of her nurturing spirit. An animal lover at heart, she found immense joy in spoiling her pets, creating a home filled with love and companionship.
Kari was a true social butterfly, embodying the essence of friendship. She thrived on spending quality time with those she held dear, becoming the life of every party with her laughter and radiant energy. Most importantly, she held a special place in her heart for her family, especially her grandkids who affectionately called her Nana. Visiting them and playing together brought her immeasurable joy, and she delighted in creating precious memories with them.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Jessica (Bryan) Williams Anthony, as well as her dear grandchildren, Elliot and Owen, who will forever carry her legacy in their hearts. Kari is also remembered fondly by her sister, Carolyn Gooch, and her aunts, Huldia Cox and Dianne Gooch, all of whom she cherished deeply.
Kari joins her beloved parents, Gary and Dorothy Gooch, her son, Casey Williams, and her brother, Randy Gooch, in eternal peace. Their memory will continue to live on through the stories and love that Kari imparted to all who knew her.
A visitation in honor of Kari will take place on March 1, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home in St. Peters, Missouri. A graveside service will then follow at 1:00 PM at Oak Grove Cemetery in Saint Charles, Missouri.

Kari D. Williams will be remembered not only for her dedication to her family and community but also for the radiant joy she brought into the lives of so many. Her indomitable spirit and loving nature will be deeply missed, but she will forever hold a cherished place in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.
