Katy’s profession as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner reflected her commitment to helping others, a calling that she embraced with both passion and grace. She truly loved her work, finding immense satisfaction in the care she provided to her patients.
A devoted family member, Katy cherished every moment spent with her loved ones. She is survived by her mother, Vicky Frayne; her brother, Charles Frayne, II; her sister, Amber (Scott) Giffin; her nephew, Carter Giffin; and her two cherished nieces, Madelyn Giffin and Arlie Frayne. Katy also held a special place in her heart for her friend Kevin Kirk, who was not only her partner but also her best friend and constant source of encouragement.
Katy delighted in life’s simple pleasures. She loved camping, kayaking, and enjoyed her time in the Girl Scouts, where she developed lifelong friendships with the JLs and the Goddesses. Her vacations at the beach were filled with laughter and joy, creating memories that her family will hold dear forever. Above all, Katy enjoyed spending time with her extended family, including numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, each of whom she loved deeply.
Katy's warmth, kindness, and unwavering spirit will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She was welcomed with open arms in heaven by her father, Charles Frayne, Sr., and her grandparents, Bessie (Charles L.) Frayne, Roberta Robinson, and Jimmy Robinson.
