Kenneth C. Kennedy, Jr., fondly known as Ken, was born on April 19, 1948, in St. Louis, Missouri. He passed away on March 10, 2026, at the age of 77 in St. Charles, Missouri, leaving behind a legacy of love and dedication to family, friends, and his community.

Ken served honorably in the United States Navy, an experience that shaped him profoundly. Following his military service, he was notably active with the Jefferson Barracks POW/MIA Museum in St. Louis, where he took on the role of treasurer, diligently working to secure funding for the museum. His commitment to this cause reflected his values of service and remembrance.

Ken had a personality that was marked by humor and warmth. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, creating a vibrant community around him. His greatest pride stemmed from his three sons—Michael (Anna) Kennedy, Christopher (Vickie) Kennedy, and Scott (Mellisa) Kennedy—whom he raised with love and guidance. He was also blessed with grandchildren: Adam Nance, Tyler (Aubrey) Kennedy, Carter Kennedy, Seth Grumich, and Samuel Kennedy, in addition to his great-grandchildren, Miles Kennedy and Tucker Kennedy. Each of these relationships brought him immense joy, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

Ken is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Kathleen Kennedy, whose memory he cherished dearly. He is also survived by the memories of his parents, Teresa and Kenneth Kennedy, along with his brothers, Raymond and Richard Kennedy, who have passed on but are remembered fondly.

Visitation will be held on March 17, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, followed by a funeral service from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home in St. Peters, Missouri. The address for the venue is 837 Mid Rivers Mall Dr, St Peters, MO 63376.
