Kevin E. Schaefer

Kevin E. Schaefer, born on December 25, 1957, passed away surrounded by family at hospital.  He was the beloved husband of Meta Schaefer (nee Thomure) since August 10, 1991.  

Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Monica (Bryan) Boschert of West Alton, Missouri; son, Marcus Schaefer of St. Charles, Missouri; grandson, Trent Boschert; and granddaughter, Paige (Charlie) Galentine. He also leaves behind three brothers: Danny (Brenda) Allen, Steve (Beth) Schaefer, and Devin (Joyce) Schaefer; and a sister, Tammy Johnson. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Doris Schaefer (nee Whitener). 

Kevin was an Army Veteran serving from 1975 to 1977.  He enjoyed being in the outdoors; whether it was fishing or working in the yard.
