Lauren C. Stumpp

Lauren C. Stumpp passed away on September 21, 2026, at the age of 69. Born on September 3, 1957, Lauren will be remembered with love for the warmth she brought to those around her and for the simple joys that meant so much in her life.

Lauren found happiness in the kitchen, where she enjoyed cooking, baking, and making desserts. She especially loved watching cooking shows and then bringing those ideas to life at home, recreating recipes with care and enthusiasm. Those pleasures reflected her generous spirit and her enjoyment of sharing good food and time with others. She was also a fanatical St. Louis Cardinals fan, and that loyal devotion was one more part of the personality so fondly remembered by those who knew her.

Above all, Lauren’s memory lives on in her family. She is survived by her husband, Duane Stumpp, and by her son, John Richard Stumpp. She is also lovingly remembered by her sister-in-law, JoAnn Sienkiewicz, and by her niece, Allyson Sienkiewicz. Their lives carry forward the love, connection, and memories they shared with Lauren, and her presence will remain close to them in the days ahead.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Cynthia Brown; her father, Donald Brown; and her brother, Donald Brown Jr. As her family remembers her life, they also honor the enduring bonds that shaped it.

Visitation will be held on October 10, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, St. Peters, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Dr, St Peters, Missouri 63376. A memorial service will follow there at 2:00 p.m.

Lauren C. Stumpp will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. Her family and friends will hold close the memories of her cooking, her desserts, her Cardinals fandom, and the many everyday moments that made her so special.
