Leo Gregory Stoff, III, age 54, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on August 13, 2026, following a brief and rapidly progressing illness. Although his time was far too short, Leo lived a life full of faith, love, joy, and purpose.
Born on March 29, 1972, Leo was the son of the late “Gary” Stoff and Elizabeth Stoff. He was the beloved partner of Casey Stoff, whom he married on January 21, 2012, and the devoted father of Addison Drumm, 18, and Molly Stoff, 11. He was the loving brother of Julie Immer and Paula Dean.
For Leo, home was wherever his girls were. His greatest joy was his family, but his love extended to countless others. A man of deep Christian faith, Leo was passionate about Jesus and never hesitated to share the gospel with anyone who would listen. He served faithfully as a children's worship leader and was deeply involved in the life and activities of his church.
Leo's creativity and love of people were evident throughout his life. He spent decades involved in community theater and choreography throughout the St. Louis area, shared his talents as a singer and songwriter in Nashville, and treasured his time performing on stage in Branson. He was also an avid health and fitness enthusiast who brought energy and enthusiasm to everything he did.
Leo attended Saint Louis University High School and Northeast Missouri State. But beyond his accomplishments, Leo will be remembered most for the joy he brought to others. His laughter, kindness, faith, energy, and genuine love for people left an impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
His illness progressed very quickly, giving his family and loved ones far less time than they ever could have imagined. While there is tremendous sadness in his passing, those who loved Leo find comfort in knowing that his faith was real, his life had purpose, and his hope was in Jesus Christ. We grieve his absence while celebrating the assurance that this is not goodbye forever.
Leo's life will be celebrated through a private family burial on August 27, 2026.
A Celebration of Life will be held at First Free Church in Ballwin on September 5, 2026 at 2pm. All are invited and encouraged to come together to celebrate the joy Leo brought to our lives and to remember a man who loved Jesus, loved his family, and loved people well.
In lieu of simply remembering the length of Leo's life, his family invites everyone to remember the depth of his love, the strength of his faith, and the many lives he touched along the way.
