Leonard Michael Jacobs, affectionately known as Lenny, was born on March 23, 1952, in Port Huron, Michigan. He departed this life on June 26, 2025, leaving behind a legacy enriched by his devotion to family and community.
Lenny was a dedicated husband to his beloved spouse, Judy Jacobs. Together, they created a warm and nurturing home filled with love and laughter. Lenny was immensely proud of his children: Sherri A. D'Achille, Danny L. Jacobs, Joseph M. Jacobs, and Christine M. Jacobs. He cherished the bonds he shared with his family and took great delight in the accomplishments and milestones of his eleven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren, who brought him immeasurable joy. He is survived by many other family members and friends.
In addition to his immediate family, Lenny maintained close relationships with his siblings: Lucille, Marcy, Mary Jo, Cheryl, Ronald, Jeanne, Richard, Roberta, and Francis. The camaraderie and love among his family were pivotal to his life and provided a strong support system that endured through challenges and celebrations alike.
Lenny was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy Jacobs and Violet Jacobs, whose love and guidance shaped him into the man he became. Their influence remained with him throughout his life, impacting how he cared for and nurtured his own family. He is also preceded in death by his siblings, David (Moose), Marty, Billy, & Jimmy.
As a devoted family man, Lenny’s life revolved around his loved ones, marked by countless cherished moments and memories. His presence will be sorely missed, but the values he instilled and the love he shared will continue to flourish through those he leaves behind.
