Linda L. Michalek

Linda L. Michalek, passed away on May 9, 2026. Born on June 6, 1945.

Throughout her career as a grade school teacher, Linda inspired countless students, fostering a love of learning and a spirit of curiosity that has left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her commitment to education was matched only by her dedication to her family, where she found profound joy and fulfillment.

Linda is survived by her loving husband, Thomas Michalek; her daughters, Victoria Welton, and Debra Misuraca, who shared her values and passion for life; and her grandchildren, Kyra Welton, Ramona Misuraca, and Mara Misuraca, who brought immense happiness to her later years. She also leaves behind her dear sister, Marilyn Camfield, along with Marilyn’s husband, David, and a wide circle of family members and friends who will deeply miss her presence.

She was preceded in death by her beloved father, John W. Mittendorf, and mother, Mary Mittendorf, whose memories she cherished and held close throughout her life.

Linda’s legacy is one of dedication, compassion, and love—a testament to a life well-lived and a heart open to the world around her. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her unwavering support to those she loved, and her extraordinary ability to touch lives with kindness. Her memory will remain a guiding light to all who knew her.
