Lois F. Boltralik (1930 – 2025) age 94, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2025 in Saint Peters, MO. Born on October 30, 1930, in Pittsburgh, PA, she was the cherished daughter of George French Jr. and Hilda French.
A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Lois was a beacon of kindness, love, and generosity. She was celebrated for her warmth, humor, and her remarkable creativity. Lois had a profound passion for camping and overseas travel and delighted in sharing her many hobbies with those she loved. Fondly known within her family as the “Gift Bag Lady,” she lovingly handcrafted more than 5,000 unique cloth gift bags, bringing joy to countless birthdays and Christmas celebrations.
Lois was predeceased by her beloved husband of 51 years, John J. "Jack" Boltralik, a biochemist and WWII Army Air Force veteran, who passed away in July 2016. Together, they built a life full of love and shared memories.
She is lovingly remembered by her two sons, MAJ William J. Boltralik, a retired US Army Aviation veteran, and Gary F. Boltralik, along with his wife, Veronica Johnson, as well as her treasured adult grandsons, Nicholas G. Boltralik and Alexander J. Boltralik.
A memorial service celebrating Lois’s life will be held on May 19th at 1:00PM in the St. Peters Chapel at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions. She will be laid to rest alongside her husband at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in Saint Louis, MO.
Lois’s love, light, and creativity will forever be remembered and cherished by all whose lives she touched.
