Lucille E. Young

Lucille was a kind and loving woman who didn't have a mean bone in her body. She made countless friends over her 92 years, and to know her was truly to love her.

Hard work was a part of Lucille's life from a young age. As a girl, she dug worms to sell to local bait shops, and over the years she worked in restaurants, factories and she, along with her husband Robert (Bob), owned Old Bridge Bait Shop. At the age of 55, she began a remarkable 34-year career with Walmart, where she made even more lifelong friends.

For Lucille, family first wasn't just a motto-it was her way of life. She never stopped giving of herself and was a true blessing to every member of our family, whether she was your mom, grandma, aunt, sister, cousin, or even a friend of a family member. All five generations of us are forever grateful for her guidance, her lessons, her spankings, and-most of all-her love.

Lucille was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Richard C. Smith, her 2nd husband Robert E Young, her mother, Elsie Farley (nee Peters), father, William Farley, brother Ralph Farley, sister Dorothy Miner (nee Farley), brother Carl Farley, brother Clinton Farley, brother Gary Farley, brother Larry Farley, daughter Jill Gesell (nee Young), son David Young and grandson Jamie Young.

She is survived by her brother Dale W. Farley (Joi), her daughters Linda Gant (Gary), Patsy Chailland (Craig), Mary Hovis, Cindy Brinkmann (Paul), Mary Young, Grandchildren Tom Gant (Stacie), Spring Johnson, Angie Seats (Joshua), Mandie Hampton, Ryan Bock, (Kimmi) Destiny Blegen, Crystal Hovis, Duane Gesell (Ashley), Damon Gesell, Emily Martinez, Greg Young (Cheryl), Nathan Brinkmann (Kate), Megan Bryant (Chad), 40 great grandchildren and 14 great-great grandchildren.
