Marilyn J. Walsh, born April 10, 1957, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2026. Throughout her 69 years, Marilyn touched the lives of many with her warmth, kindness, and dedication to family.
Marilyn had a variety of interests that brought her joy throughout her life. She was a profound lover of all dogs. She also took great pride and joy in tending to her plants and flowers. Perhaps her greatest happiness came from time spent with her children and then later with her grandchildren—whether cheering them on at their sporting events or preparing delicious meals in the kitchen, she delighted in every moment shared.
Marilyn is survived by her loving husband, Sean J. Walsh, who walked beside her through every season of life. She was a devoted mother to her daughters, Andria (Benjamin) Jeffries and Jennifer (Kevin) Smith, and her son, Sean D. (Lauren) Walsh. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: Brannac Jeffries, Declan Jeffries, Brooklyn Smith, Addison Walsh, Tenley Smith, Parker Walsh, and Mason Walsh. Marilyn is also survived by her mother, Miryam Stemmler, and her brother, Jonathan Armes.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Armes, and her siblings: sister Patricia Armes, brother Robert Armes, and sister Susan Braden. Marilyn deeply valued family and held the memories of her late loved ones close to her heart.
Marilyn’s warmth, generosity, and unwavering love enriched the lives of those around her. Her enduring spirit and the memories she created with her family and friends will remain treasures for generations to come.
