Mark T. Taylor, beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away on July 3, 2026, at the age of 70. Born on September 22, 1955, Mark leaves behind a legacy defined by deep generosity, and a profound love for his family and friends.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Michele Taylor; his daughter, Alexandra Smith; his son, Max Smith; and his brother, William Taylor. Mark was preceded in death by his father, Earl Taylor; his mother, Dolores Taylor; and his brother, Steven Taylor.

Mark's impact on those around him was felt not only within his family but throughout his community. He will be remembered as an avid sports fan, who especially treasured cheering on all St. Louis teams. The St. Louis Cardinals held a special place in his heart, and autumn weekends were often spent enjoying Mizzou Football. Mark’s enthusiasm for sports was exceeded only by his enthusiasm for life and people.

A man with a heart for service, Mark never hesitated to help others, wherever a need arose. Those who knew him could always count on his readiness to assist, his positive energy, and his unwavering reliability.

Mark was also dedicated to supporting meaningful causes and building connections. He was an active member of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, offering hope and joy to children facing serious illness. His sense of camaraderie found outlets in groups such as the Mac Attack Pack and through his fraternity, TKE, where he cultivated lifelong friendships and a sense of brotherhood.

Throughout his career, Mark owned and operated various restaurants, where his work ethic, leadership, and welcoming personality left an indelible mark on colleagues and patrons alike. His entrepreneurial spirit was matched only by his generosity and ability to bring people together.
