Mary Cradick-Dick, a beloved figure in the lives of many, passed away on February 25, 2026, at the age of 67. Born on March 4, 1958, in Baton Rouge, LA, Mary exemplified warmth and joy, making indelible marks on the hearts of all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
For over 25 years, Mary dedicated herself to the craft of bartending, becoming renowned as the best in the business. Her work took her through several esteemed establishments, including Martorelli's, Sherwood Forest, Foley's, and Peg Legs. Through her role, she not only served drinks but also formed lasting connections with patrons, always bringing a smile and impeccable service to those fortunate enough to cross her path.
Mary’s personality was one of her most treasured attributes; she was a friend to everyone, radiant and engaging, and never met a stranger. Her ability to light up any room she entered will be profoundly missed. Mary had a special love for her family, being a devoted mother to her son, Dale Dick, Jr., and a loving wife to her husband, Dale Dick Sr. She had a unique bond with her nieces and nephews, often acting as a godmother to many, enriching their lives with her kindness and affection.
Mary is survived by her husband, Dale Dick Sr.; son, Dale Dick, Jr.; and nine siblings: Diane (the late, Joe) Vaclavik, Tom (Lisa) Cradick, Collean (the late, Dan) Nieman, Peggy (Charlie) Orlando, Maureen (Terry) Walker, Tim (Bobbie) Cradick, Pat Cradick, Bob Cradick, and Dennis Cradick. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Donald (Janet) Dick; two sisters-in-law, Debra (Dave) Lewis and Diane (the late, Jack) Hoffarth; along with many nieces, nephews, and a host of other family members and friends who hold her memory dear.
Mary was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Joseph Cradick; mother, Margaret Ruth Cradick; and brother, Gary Cradick.
A visitation to celebrate her remarkable life will be held on March 4, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home in St. Peters, MO. Her legacy of joy and connection will continue to be felt through the lives she cherished and inspired.
