Mary Frances Davis, born on July 21, 1945, in St. Louis, Missouri, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and love. Known for her unwavering commitment to her career, Mary spent her working life as a devoted waitress and server, building lasting relationships with her patrons through her exceptional service and warm demeanor.
She attended Riverview Gardens High School. As an individual, Mary was known for her kind spirit and an immense capacity for love, which she wholeheartedly dedicated to her family. Her two sons, Mark (Carrie) Davis and Edward Davis, were the center of her universe, and she always ensured they knew they could count on her for anything they needed.
The true love of Mary’s life was her late husband, David. Their bond was a testament to deep connection and companionship, one that shaped Mary’s appreciation for family and life itself. Not only was she a nurturing mother, but she also embraced her roles as grandmother and great-grandmother with joy. She is survived by her two grandchildren, Daisy Culbertson and Alexander Davis, and her great-grandchild, Lemy Fitzsimmons. Additionally, she leaves behind a host of other family members and friends whose lives she touched.
Mary’s interests extended beyond her family as she was an avid reader, often found with a book in hand, delighting in the worlds that literature offered. She also enjoyed spending time with "The Cousins".
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, David Davis; father, Vance Ringe, her mother, Anna Ringe, and her grandchild, Anna H. Davis.
A visitation to honor Mary's life will be held on June 2, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 6:00 PM. Both services will take place at Newcomer Funeral Home, located at 837 Mid Rivers Mall Dr, St. Peters, Missouri, 63376. A Graveside Service will be held the following day, Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at 11:00 am at Our Lady Cemetery & Mausoleum, 8701 Orf Rd, Lake St Louis, MO 63367.
The memory of Mary Frances Davis will continue to live on through her family and friends who cherished her warmth, dedication, and the remarkable joy she brought into their lives.
