Mary C. Doelling

Mary C. Doelling, born on January 24, 1960, gracefully departed this life on June 20, 2025. A beloved figure to many, Mary’s warmth and kindness will be profoundly missed.

In her younger years, she found joy in visiting the casino, where she embraced the thrill of gaming. Mary had a deep love for swimming and treasured peaceful moments spent in the water. Her affection for the Hallmark channel was well-known among family and friends, where she delighted in the heartwarming stories that painted life with optimism.

Above all, Mary’s world revolved around her family. She devoted herself to her two daughters, Melanie Doelling and Jamie (Jason) Day, and adored her three grandchildren, Austin Day, Emily Day, and Brittany Johnson. They were the light of her life, and she took great pride in supporting their dreams and sharing in their joys.

Mary is survived by her sister, Elizabeth Watkins, and her brother, Richard (the late Elnita) Porterfield. In addition to her loving family, she leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends who cherished her presence and spirit.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Fink, Jr.; her mother, Beatrice Garrett; and her brother, Robert Porterfield. Even as she is missed, Mary’s legacy will live on through the love she shared and the memories created with those she held dear.
