Mary T. Dwyer, born on August 24, 1936, in St. Louis, Missouri, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2026, in her beloved hometown, surrounded by her loving family. A kind, docile sweetheart with a heart full of love and laughter, Mary was truly a dancing queen whose spirit touched everyone she met. She was never one to know a stranger, and anyone fortunate enough to cross her path found themselves embraced by her warmth and kindness.
Mary’s life was a beautiful dance—in every sense of the word. Her joyful moves were matched only by her gentle hugs that comforted those around her. She had a magical way of finding four leaf clovers everywhere she walked, as if nature itself responded to her radiant spirit. Her hobbies and interests revealed the many colors of her vibrant personality: she loved to read, sing, dance, and play cards, and could often be found enjoying the thrill of the slots.
Her proudest accomplishments were not measured in trophies or accolades, but in the lives she shaped and cherished—her children and grandchildren, her extended family, and her steadfast faith. These were the cornerstones of her life and the legacy she leaves behind.
Mary is lovingly remembered by her beloved sons, Lon Bean and his wife Carolyn, and Joe Williamson. She also leaves behind countless grandchildren and great-grandchildren, each a testament to her nurturing spirit and boundless love. Her brother, Harry Martin, her daughter-in-law, Paula Bean, and many other family members and friends carry forward her memory with honor and affection.
She was preceded in death by her sons Donald Bean, Jr., Ronald Bean, and Daniel Michael Bean; her parents, Harry and Florence Martin; brothers Tom Martin, Bart Martin, and Jimmy Martin; her sister Carol Browning; and her daughter-in-law Ana Maria Williamson.
Family and friends are invited to join in celebrating Mary’s extraordinary life at the Newcomer Funeral Home in St. Peters, Missouri. Visitation will be held on April 21, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Later that afternoon, a graveside service will take place at St. Charles Memorial Gardens in Saint Charles, Missouri, beginning at 2:30 p.m.
Mary T. Dwyer’s message to all who knew her was as clear as the gentle embrace she offered: live with kindness, embrace joy, and dance through life with an open heart. She will forever remain a beacon of love and grace to all who were blessed to know her.
