Mary Lynn Karll, 69, passed away on Tuesday November 25, 2025.

She was born to the late Glennon and Edith (nee Bethmann) Obrecht on July 18, 1956 in Troy, Missouri. She graduated in 1974 from St. Dominic High School in O’Fallon, Missouri. She also attended Lindenwood College and the University of Missouri – Columbia. She married Frank X. Karll on September 18, 1976.

Mary spent her working years with the United States Postal Service in Old Monroe, Winfield, St. Peters and Cottleville. She loved travel and explored the world with her husband, family and friends. Her sense of adventure, wit and love for pranks will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

She is survived by her beloved family: husband Frank; her three favorite daughters, Johanna, Julia and Erin; and her two favorite grandchildren, Charles and Beatrix. She is also survived by her siblings: Dorothy Schulte, Elizabeth Isbell, David Obrecht and Barbara Kieffer. She is preceded in death by her parents Glennon and Edith Obrecht and her siblings Julia Sigmund and Glennon Obrecht.

A viewing will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home in St. Peters from 12pm-4pm on Sunday December 7, 2025. A private interment will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Vincent De Paul or to a Charity of Donor's Choice.
