Mary Lucille Nelson

Mary Lucille Nelson passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2026. Mary was born 11 March 1929 in Hemple, MO. Mary was the daughter of Rufus and Grace (Rapp) Jackson. She married the love of her life, Lloyd Nelson on the 24 of August 1947. Lloyd passed away on 24 March 2007. To this union five children were born, Mary Nelson of Duluth, Minnesota; Shirley (Tim) Brennan of O’Fallon, Missouri; Michael (Debbie) Nelson of Cape Coral, Florida; David (Millie) Nelson of Jefferson City, Missouri. She leaves to mourn her passing the above-named children, their spouses grandchildren, Christopher (Sara)Brennan, Kimberly (Brian) Rogers and Michael Brennan; Elizabeth Stanley and Jason (Ivette) Stanley, Jonathan (Jennifer) Nelson, Joseph Nelson (Karen Hartung); Michael Raymond Nelson; Zachary (Will) Moor-Nelson, Kaitlyn (David) Kruse, Charles (Kalynne) Nelson, Ian (Cadence) Nelson and Isaak Nelson. Great grandchildren; Colin Atkinson; Maya Brennan; Henry Nelson; Jaxon Nelson; Griffin Hartung; Ridge and Isla Stanley; Benjamin, Lillian and Magnolia Kruse; Mallory and Hallie Nelson and the following siblings: LaDonna Corey of Cosby; Betty (Wayne)Kerns; Evelyn Thomas both of St. Joseph. Also, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceding Mary in death were her parents, husband, son in-law Gary Nelson; daughter and son in-law, Marjorie and Alan Stanley and siblings; Rufus Edgar, Roy Lee, Floyd, Howard, Earl, Jim, Bill, Kenny, George and Lester Jackson and sisters; Anna Mae Herpel, Lillie Thomas, Dorothy Ostrander and Nadine Karrasch. Mary and Lloyd’s ashes will be co-mingled and interred in a family plot at Blakely Cemetery in Easton, Missouri.
