Mary Jane Olivastro, 68, of O'Fallon, Missouri, passed away on March 18, 2026. She was born January 13, 1958 in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late Anthony and the late Susie Louise Olivastro.

Mary was a true fighter and a remarkable double lung transplant survivor. Her strength and resilience inspired all who knew her. She found joy in life's simple pleasures-loving her pets, working on needlepoint, solving puzzles, and playing board games with family. Mary also had a well-known sweet-tooth and especially enjoyed Pepsi and Dumdum suckers.

She is survived by her son, Joseph Anthony Olivastro; her beloved grandson, Aiden Anthony Lovell; and her siblings: Julia M. Kamp, Virginia Olivastro Huff, Jona Adams, John Olivastro, and Anthony Olivastro.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her older brother, Joseph M. Olivastro.

Visitation to take place on Saturday, March 21, 2026 from 9:30 am until 11:30 am, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376.  

I lieu of flowers the family requests that donations go to Willows Way, a non-profit that supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through personalized care and community programs.
