Matthew Adam Robinson

January 26, 1981 — May 21, 2025

Wentzville, Missouri

Matthew Adam Robinson, affectionately known as Matt, was a vibrant soul whose magnetic personality drew people in from all walks of life. Born on January 26, 1981, in St. Charles, Missouri, Matt left this world unexpectedly on May 21, 2025, in Wentzville. He is survived by his loving wife, Lindsay Robinson; his beloved daughters, Mikeala and Mattilyn Robinson; his parents, Russell (Jane) Robinson and Lois Mayer; his siblings, Sarah (Frank) Roberts, Seth (Jillian) Robinson, Kyle Robinson, and Connor Robinson; and his longtime friend, Rachel Giger.

Matt was the epitome of a loving husband and father, always striving to create special memories with his family. One such cherished moment was when he playfully asked Lindsay to officially be his girlfriend while they skipped rocks at a creek, a testament to his whimsical nature and ability to find joy in the simplest of moments. His general goofy nature shone through in everything he did, from scaring Lindsay when he swam too far into the ocean to his unwavering commitment to making the holiday season memorable. Every Christmas, Matt was the go-to chef for a delicious ham that brought the family together, filling their gatherings with warmth and love. Matt also spent special times with his daughters. He would take his daughter, Matti, to explore new cars and they bonded over their shared hobby. He also enjoyed attending concerts and sharing his love of music with Mikeala. He loved traveling, especially going to Hawaii or to the mountains with his family, as well as organizing game nights where they made many hilarious memories. During one of their game nights, his brother-in-law joked he had a terrible hand and Matt, having injured his fingers previously, jokingly said "You've got a bad hand, who are you talking to?"

An adventurer at heart, Matt had a remarkable passion for cars and loved testing new rentals, a hobby he embraced during moments when his own car was being repaired. His fascination with meteorology led him to an enthusiasm for storm chasing, where he would eagerly study weather maps, all the while sharing his discoveries with those around him, especially his daughters, with whom he bonded over many aspects of science including stargazing. Matt also enjoyed participating in archery with his daughters, they all had their own bows and arrows. To Matt, his most important job was being a father to his daughters and loving his wife with all of his heart.

His laughter and great sense of humor left an indelible mark on everyone he met. As a compassionate and loving individual, Matt's welcoming spirit made it impossible for him to know a stranger. In each interaction, whether with old friends or new acquaintances, he fostered an atmosphere of camaraderie and kindness.

The community and especially his family will deeply miss Matt. His adventurous spirit, infectious laughter, and boundless love will forever echo in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known him.
