Maurice DeWayne Dixon, age 63, of Troy, Missouri passed away on Saturday, March 31, 2018 in Saint Peters, Missouri. He was born in Vandalia, Missouri on August 1, 1954 to the late James Acuff and Florene Cropp-Dixon
Maurice is survived by his daughter, Turkessa D. Hawkins of Carrollton, TX; siblings, Lisa Dixon-Anderson, Brenda Withers, Tracy Acuff, Cheryl Green and Chris Acuff and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and other family members and friends.
He was also preceded in death by his adopted father, Maurice A. Dixon, step-mother, Freda Acuff and a sister, Kelly Acuff;
The family will have a private ceremonial celebration.
