Michael David North

Michael D. North died peacefully on December 8, 2016.

A United States Navy Veteran, Mike continued throughout his life proud of his service to his country and was a collector of Veterans Memorabilia. An advocate for veterans, he enjoyed recreational shooting both rifles and crossbows. Mike retired as a Jet Mechanic and worked at Vance Air Force Base and Boeing.

Mike is survived by his Mother, Helen Harris; 2 brothers Steven Gomez and Douglas (Karen) Gomez; 1 sister Andrea (Scott) Parsons; several nieces, nephews and friends. Mike’s legacy was posthumously rejoined by his children; Aaron Michael (Nicholasa) Gomez with children Savannah Rene and Elizabeth Marie, and Joshua David (Lynette) Gomez with child Evan.

A gathering will be held in Mike's honor at Newcomer Funeral Home 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive Saint Peters, Missouri on Thursday December 15, 2016 from 4:00 pm to 6:45 pm followed by full military honors beginning at 6:45 pm. The burial will be private at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, Saint Louis, Missouri.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the POW-MIA Museum at Jefferson Barracks and will be accepted at the funeral home.
