Michael W. Plummer, born on November 15, 1980, passed away on July 30, 2026. His life was marked by a deep commitment to his community, a profound love for the outdoors, and an enduring dedication to his faith in Jesus and making the world a better place.
Michael was known for his sociable nature; he thrived in the company of others and was actively involved in numerous organizations and clubs throughout his life. His willingness to lend a helping hand was one of his defining characteristics, with many individuals benefiting from his care and generosity. Whether offering support or simply bringing people together, Michael worked tirelessly to improve the lives of those around him.
A passionate lover of nature, Michael especially cherished his time in the Colorado mountains. He enjoyed fishing and hiking, always seeking new adventures and relishing the tranquility of the outdoors. His appreciation for the environment translated into action, as he consistently practiced and promoted environmentally conscious living. Michael strived to leave the earth better than he found it, and his efforts resonated with all who knew him.
Michael is survived by his mother, Toni Teal; his father, Robert (Joan) Plummer Jr.; his brother, Robert Plummer III; and his paternal grandfather, Robert D. Plummer Sr. (Judith). He is also survived by two uncles, David (Janeen) Plummer and Andrew (Vicky) Plummer; two aunts, Juliana (John) Stack and Tina (Kurt) Stone; as well as a host of other family members and friends who will remember him fondly and carry forward his legacy of kindness and service.
He was preceded in death by his step-father, Bobby Teal; his maternal grandmother, Barbara Seibold; and his maternal grandfather, Doug Seibold.
Michael’s warmth, dedication to others, and reverence for nature leave an indelible mark on his family, friends, and community. His memory will continue to inspire those who were fortunate to know him.
