Norma Jean Siekmann (also known by Pookie), a beloved Daughter, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Aunt and Friend passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, July 20th, 2025 in O'Fallon, Missouri surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 30th, 1940 in St. Louis, Missouri.
She is survived by her loving husband, Earl Siekmann, daughters, Kathleen (the late Paul) Brewer, Kristine Moss (Ronald Koenig) and predeceased by her Daugher, Karin Scherffius and Mother, Mable Martin. She was a Grandmother to Kristi (Benjamin) Douglas, Dennis Lawler, Jr., Lindsay (Dustin) Schell, Emilee (Jake) Bowden, Alexandra Moss, and Mark Scherffius (Victor Tomy). Great Grandmother to Britleigh, Finley, Beckham, Teagan, Julian and Haygen.
Norma dedicated the majority of her life to her family and her job at Commercial Bank of Westport leaving a mark on all who were fortunate enough to know her. She never put the spotlight on herself, instead she always put the needs of others before her own. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, crafting, spending time with her girls and making all of the family holidays a special tradition.
Her legacy of love, kindness, and laughter will continue to resonate with the hearts of all of her loved ones she touched.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th, 2025 from 1 pm to 5 pm with the memorial service at 4 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home in St. Peters, Missouri on Mid Rivers Mall Drive. There will be a private service for her final resting place at the Pines in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in St. Charles, Missouri at a later date.
As we gather to celebrate her remarkable life, we will remember the countless ways she brought happiness to everyone's lives.
