With deep respect and fond remembrance, we announce the passing of Patricia M. Eickhorst, who departed this life on June 21, 2026, at the age of 82. Born on September 6, 1943, Patricia lived a full and remarkable life, leaving behind a legacy of cherished memories and enduring love.

Patricia was a woman dedicated to her family and friends, whose greatest joys were found in the company of those she loved. She took immense pleasure in hosting parties for her large family, always ensuring that every gathering was filled with warmth and laughter. Her passion for sports was matched only by her devotion to spending time with her family, watching sports together and celebrating every milestone.

A true gardener at heart, Patricia found peace and pride in tending to her plants, nurturing them as she did her relationships. She valued the simple joys in life—engaging in heartfelt phone calls with her sister to discuss their favorite soaps, as well as enjoying weekly breakfasts at The Shack with her children and grandchildren. These traditions became cherished rituals, bringing her family closer and creating lasting connections across generations.

Patricia’s devotion extended unwaveringly to her beloved husband, James O. Eickhorst, caring for him throughout their 56 years of marriage. Their partnership stood as a testament to enduring love and commitment, serving as an inspiration to all who knew them.

Patricia is survived by her son, Joseph (Christine) Eickhorst; two daughters, Genevieve Marie (Thomas) Clark and Elizabeth Ann (Daniel) Lyons; and six grandchildren: Remington Clark, Chase Eickhorst, Kinley Eickhorst, Maximus Clark, Quinn Lyons, and Drew Lyons. She is also survived by three sisters—Barbara (the late Thomas) Patterson, Mary Ellen (Dennis) Nugent, and Jane (the late Daniel) Kehm; one sister-in-law JoAnn Cova; one brother-in-law, Alan Haill; and a host of other loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her cherished husband, James O. Eickhorst; her mother, Genevieve Cova; her father, John Cova; three sisters, Thersea Szwabo, Judtih Lacy, and Margaret Haill; and her brother, John Cova: and her brother-in-law, Anson (Janice) Eickhorst.

Patricia leaves behind a legacy characterized by unwavering love for her family, steadfast friendships, and countless memories of shared celebrations and quiet moments alike. Her presence, guidance, and compassion will be dearly missed by everyone privileged to have known her.

Family and friends are invited to remember and honor Patricia’s life at a visitation on June 30, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. Both events will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, St. Peters, located at 837 Mid Rivers Mall Dr, St Peters, MO 63376.
