Patricia Ann Kroehnke (née Edinger), a devoted mother, grandmother, and cherished member of her community, passed away on June 3, 2026. Born on January 25, 1934, in St. Louis, Missouri, Patricia's life was marked by her deep love for her family and passion for music and racing.
Patricia was known for her warm and loving nature, embracing her roles as mom, grandma, and gigi with heartfelt dedication. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, including her enthusiasm for NASCAR and a special fondness for the music of Celtic Thunder. Her enjoyment of music and singing brought comfort and happiness to those around her throughout her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Kroehnke; her parents, Adelaide and Emil W. Edinger; and her sister, Harty Schroeder.
Patricia is survived by her daughter, Barb Spangenberg (Scott); her son, Mike Kroehnke (Donna); five grandchildren—Dan, Andrew, Kristen, Tom, and Amy—and eleven great-grandchildren: Kayla, Amelia, Gus, Henry, Louis, Luci, Cooper, Owen, Jude, Rori, and Harrison. She is also survived by her sister, Nona Parr, along with nieces, nephews, and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
A viewing will be held on June 12, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel Of The Cross Lutheran Church, located at 907 Jungermann Rd, St. Peters, Missouri. This will be followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on the same day at the chapel. A graveside service will take place thereafter at St. Charles Memorial Gardens, located at 3950 W Clay St, St. Charles, Missouri, beginning at 12:30 p.m.
Patricia Ann Kroehnke’s legacy of love, music, and family devotion will continue to inspire all who knew her. Her presence will be deeply missed, and her memory will be treasured by her family and friends.
