Patricia Jane Ries

Patricia Jane Ries, born on August 18, 1951, in St. Louis, Missouri, away on December 6, 2025. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, leaving behind a legacy of love and joy. Patricia's warm personality and infectious laughter were a testament to her bright spirit; she had a smile that could light up a room and a knack for making others laugh.

Patricia was more than just a devoted family member; she was an individual who embraced life with passion. She had a profound love for singing and dancing, often filling her home with music and mirth. An avid reader, Patricia found great solace in studying the Bible and immersing herself in God's word. She enjoyed traveling, exploring new places, and making memories along the way. Her cherished moments spent on her deck were a reflection of her love for nature and her desire to embrace the beauty of the world around her. Above all, she treasured the time spent with her grandchildren, Zach Bohr, Ellie Bohr, Cameron Rudy, Bennett Ries, and Malia Ries, showering them with affection and wisdom. She could be found every night spending time with her beloved husband, Randy, and reading to him on the porch.

Patricia is survived by her husband, Randy Ries; four children, Robert "Rob" Rudy, Brenda Bohr, Brandon (Lauren) Ries, and Wesley Ries. She also leaves behind a multitude of other family members and friends who will continue to honor her memory.

She was preceded in death by her father, Alfred Gaither; her mother, Mary Gaither; and her brother, Mike Gaither. The loss of Patricia leaves a considerable void in the hearts of many, but her spirit will undoubtedly live on through the lives she touched.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on December 11, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home in St. Peters, MO. A funeral service will be held the following day, December 12, 2025, at 10:00 AM, followed by a graveside service at Oak Grove Cemetery in St. Charles, MO, at 11:15 AM. Patricia Jane Ries will be remembered for her joyful spirit, loving nature, and the meaningful moments she shared with those she cherished.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Patricia's name to BJC Hospice or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
