Rhonda K. Dyer, born on November 16, 1948, passed away on March 29, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of dedication to her family. A valued wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, Rhonda's presence will be greatly missed by those who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Dyer, and two sons, Randall Riesenberger (spouse Amy) and Step son Robert Dyer (spouse Sarah). Rhonda maintained a profound and unwavering bond with her family, illustrating her nurturing nature. She was also a proud grandmother to eleven grandchildren: Rachel Durante (spouse Paul), Leah Riesenberger, Isaac Riesenberger, Avarah Riesenberger, Adah Riesenberger, Jamie Wurmb (spouse Nathan), Jacob Flaherty (spouse Aaliyeh), Allison Dyer, Nathaniel Dyer, Autumn Dyer, and Carson Dyer. Each grandchild held significance in her life, and she valued her time spent with them.

In addition to her immediate family, Rhonda is remembered by numerous other family members and friends who appreciated her warmth and kindness. She was preceded in death by her father, Arthur C. Wildt; her mother, Lucille Wildt; and her son, Ron Riesenberger. Their memories remain in the hearts of her family as they reflect on her substantial impact during her lifetime.

Rhonda was a member and Deacon of New Hope Presbyterian Church, where she served in various offices and committees. She was an entrepreneur and promoter of Historic St. Charles, MO. Rhonda collaborated with the St. Charles Convention and Visitors Bureau to transition the Christmas Traditions program from an all-volunteer initiative in the 1980s to the professional enterprise it is today. Rhonda and her husband founded The Bear Factory and later Thistle and Clover. After a brief retirement, Rhonda joined the staff at Main Street Marketplace until her retirement due to cancer.

Rhonda’s legacy is one of compassion, strength, and enduring love that continues through her family and friends. She is remembered for her selfless devotion, kindness, and the joy she brought to the lives of those around her.

A Memorial Service for Rhonda will be held at New Hope Presbyterian Church 1580 Kisker Road, St. Charles, MO 63304 on Saturday April 26th at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Association, so we can eradicate this awful disease.
