Richard E. Dickerson, Jr.

Richard E. Dickerson, Jr., age 57, of Ballwin, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2023. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on August 19, 1966 to Richard and Alice Dickerson, Sr. (nee Jones).

Richie is survived by his loving children, Chad Alan (Charlene Byers) Dickerson, Dakota Andrew (Terri) Dickerson, and Davin Anthony Dickerson; dear sisters, Juanita Barrett, Kathy Dickerson, and Sherry Myers; treasured grandchildren, Aiden Mungle, Ethan Dickerson, Liam Dickerson, and Georgia Coomer; and a host of other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard E. Dickerson, Sr.; and mother, Alice Margaret Dickerson.


Richie built a lifetime career as a Tool and Die Maker, working at various shops around the St. Louis area. He retired from this profession after over 25+ years. His mechanical aptitude allowed him to master many skills, and was truly a jack-of-all trades. Richie loved bowling, playing golf, kayaking, sailing, playing Frisbee. He also loved traveling, and had an adventurous spirit and playful, spontaneous nature. Richie loved music, and was a talented guitarist. He is lovingly remembered for his witty dad jokes, and pranks he pulled on his friends and family. Nothing gave him as much joy as being a dad, and the time he spent with his three sons.
