Robert Edward Benedict

November 3, 1980 — July 13, 2025

St Peters, Missouri

Robert Edward Benedict, affectionately known to friends and family as "Stacks," was born on November 3, 1980, in Papillion, Nebraska. He left this world far too soon, passing away peacefully at his home in St. Peters, Missouri, on July 13, 2025.

Robert's journey through life was one marked by an unwavering love for the great outdoors, which he transformed into a successful career by owning and operating his very own landscaping company. His dedication to his work was a testament to his passion, reflecting a vibrant spirit intertwined with nature’s beauty. Known for his funny, sweet, and kind-hearted nature, Robert was the kind of person who would give the shirt off his back for his family, always embodying the very essence of caring.

Among his proudest accomplishments were his two beloved children, Tristan and Zoey Benedict, who were the lights of his life. His adoring relationship with them mirrored the unconditional love he shared with his devoted mother, Tammy Hefter. Their bond was a treasure, defined by a deep understanding and an affection that flourished in their ability to be there for one another—a connection that brought joy and fulfillment to both their lives.

Robert's interests were as vivid as his personality; he found happiness in fishing trips that echoed with laughter, and he amassed an impressive collection of Hot Wheels cars, each piece a token of his playful spirit. His love for the Green Bay Packers added another layer of joy, as weekends spent cheering for his team became cherished rituals that resonated within his household.

He is survived by his loving mother, Tammy Hefter; his adoring father, Mike Cooper; his cherished children, Tristan and Zoey; his grandmother, Barbara Jacobson; his aunts and uncles, Lisa (Ken) Carlson, Brenda (Roger) Schroder, Denise Jellesma; and a multitude of cousins and beloved family members and friends who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.

While Robert has departed from this earthly realm, the indelible impact he made on the lives of those around him remains. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Bill Benedict; his uncle, Jake Jellesma; and his great-grandparents, Erna (Grannie) Childers and Robert Edward Childers, whose spirits undoubtedly welcomed him home.

In every cherished memory, in every glance towards the beauty of a landscaped garden, in every moment of laughter shared among family, Robert Edward Benedict will remain forever vibrant, a legacy of love that continues to bloom in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
