Robert Dietrich
January 3, 1942 – September 17, 2026
Robert (Bob) Dietrich, 84, of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away on September 17, 2026.
Bob is survived by his beloved wife, Bonnie Dietrich. Bob and Bonnie recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary surrounded by family and friends, marking six decades of a beautiful life they built together.
He is also survived by his son, Todd Dietrich, and his wife, Christine; his grandchildren, Hannah, Fletcher, and Max; his step-grandchildren, Madison and Jack; and his great-granddaughter, Kinsley.
Family was at the center of Bob’s life. He especially treasured the time he spent supporting his grandchildren and could often be found attending their sporting events and activities. Being present for the people he loved was most important to him, and his family provided some of his greatest memories.
Bob was a member of Church of the Shepherd Methodist Church. He enjoyed golf and following his favorite teams. He was a devoted fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, the Missouri Tigers (MIZ!!!), the Francis Howell North Knights, and the Orchard Farm Eagles. Cheering on these teams gave Bob so much joy. Bob was a longtime member of the Monroe City Masonic Lodge No. 64. He was also a proud member of “The Sunshine Boys”, a fun-loving group of retired insurance agents who were members of the St. Charles County Insurance Association.
Bob will be remembered for his devotion to his family, the many years he shared with Bonnie, and the pride and happiness he found in his children, grandchildren, and great-granddaughter. His presence will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Association are appreciated.
