Listen to Obituary

Robert “Bob” Greenemay, of O’Fallon, Missouri, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on October 22, 2026. He was born on July 12, 1939, in St. Louis, Missouri.

Bob will be remembered as an easy-going, low-key man who loved his family deeply, enjoyed life, and never complained. Those who knew him knew a steady and gentle presence, someone whose quiet way and warm heart left a lasting impression on the people around him.

He devoted thirty-seven years of his working life to Anheuser Busch, where he worked as a beer brewer. He was also a proud member of Teamsters Local #6. His long career reflected the same dedication and dependability that marked the rest of his life.

Among the things Bob held closest were his family and his marriage. One of his proudest accomplishments was his marriage to Sandra “Sandy” Greenemay, with whom he shared 65 years of love and life together. He was also especially proud of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who were a constant source of joy and meaning in his life.

Bob is survived by his beloved wife, Sandra “Sandy” Greenemay; by his sons, Dan Greenemay and his wife Laura, Mark Greenemay and his wife Patti, and Michael Greenemay and his wife Hilda; by his grandchildren, Daniel Greenemay, Zach Greenemay and his husband Andrew Robinson, Nicole Freise and her husband Darren, Luke Greenemay and his wife Sophie, Collin Greenemay, Melanie Greenemay, and Josie Greenemay; and by his great-grandchildren, Blake, Andie Jo, Layne, Brooks, Marley, Paul, Kobe, and Lewis. The family he cherished so deeply stands as a beautiful part of the legacy he leaves behind.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Catherine Greenemay.

Bob’s life was defined by devotion, steadiness, and love. He will be dearly missed by his family and all who had the pleasure of knowing him, and he will be remembered with gratitude, affection, and lasting love.
