Robert Michael Speiser, Sr., 63, of St. Charles Missouri, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his children and family, Saturday, October 25, 2025.
He was born to the late William and Delores Speiser, July 11, 1962, in St. Louis, Missouri.
Robert was a true craftsman, from owning several businesses, to working on his motorcycle, and any other vehicle he could get his hands on, there really wasn’t something he couldn’t do. His passions in life were his children and grandchildren; he was happiest when he was surrounded by his family.
His last few months on this earth, was complicated, but he never showed it; He was in true bliss, watching his grandbabies dance and play around him, and having at least one of his children by his side, daily. He was always the life of the party, and there was never a dull moment when he was present. He had the gift of gab and could speak with anybody, even if it was a story about him being a golden glove boxer, knowing well it wasn’t true, he could have you convinced by the end of his story. His biggest passion was writing; he has written the most profound poetry.
Robert is survived by nine children: William Hill (Courtney) of St. Charles, Missouri; Deana Eoff (Cody) of Sullivan Missouri; Amy Bartz (Damon) of Columbia Missouri; James Lowry of Elsberry Missouri; Robert Speiser (Carol) of Elsberry Missouri; Stephen Speiser (Roschelle) of Elsberry Missouri; Kerri Speiser of St. Louis Missouri; Tony Speiser (Danielle) of Ashland Missouri; and Erin Speiser of Elsberry Missouri. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, Taylor, Faith, Kylie, Liam, Bentley, Alyssa, Landynn, Parker, Zowie, Ellie, Tinley, and Luna. His brothers William Speiser (Debbie), James Speiser (Patricia), Daniel Speiser (Tracey), and David Speiser (Connie), and many cousins, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his grandson Samuel Robert Bartz, parents William and Delores Speiser, sister Mary Huskey, nephew James Speiser, Jr., and great-nephew Matthew Sanders, Jr.
