He lived a life filled with rich experiences, cherished memories, and deep connections that will resonate in the hearts of those he has touched.
A dedicated professional, Roger made significant contributions to the St. Charles County Health Department, where he served as the Head of the Division of Environmental Services. His commitment to public service extended to his role as a nursing home inspector for the State of Missouri, where he worked diligently to ensure the wellbeing of others. Roger's educational journey began at Southeast Missouri State University, where he proudly earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. He approached his work with the same dedication he exhibited in all aspects of his life.
Roger was a man of many talents and interests. A skilled woodworker and home remodeler, he took immense pride in enhancing the family home, completing two basements that provided comfort and joy to his loved ones. His creativity shone through in every project, as he had an uncanny ability to find solutions for challenges around the house. Roger’s greatest pride was his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Sandy, his son Jim and daughter-in-law Michelle, and his treasured grandsons, Spencer, Wyatt, and Cooper. He is also remembered fondly by his sister Gloria and brother-in-law Bob Ochonicky, along with a host of nieces and nephews who carry forward his legacy of love and laughter.
