Rose Marie Stotko, born on March 28, 1928, peacefully passed away on March 17, 2026. She leaves behind a rich legacy defined by love, dedication, and a profound commitment to her family.
Rose was preceded in death by her father, Otto Greenfield, stepfather Edgar Finley and her beloved mother, Ora Lee Finley; two cherished husbands, William S. Tracy, Sr., her first husband of 32 years, and James E. Stotko, her second husband of 32 years; and two children, William (Josephine Mannino) Tracy Jr. and Robert (Nancy) Tracy Sr.; and a granddaughter, Debbie Kiser.
Rose’s surviving family reflects the enduring bonds she nurtured through the years. She is lovingly remembered by her children Janet Femmer, Nancy Tracy, and Timothy Tracy. Her legacy continues vibrantly through her grandchildren: William Tracy III, Judy (John) Pappert, Robert Tracy, Jr., Daniel Tracy, Kelly Tracy, Mandy Femmer and Susan Olivia Mojeske. The tapestry of her family is further enriched by her great-grandchildren Brandon Pappert, Savannah Tracy, Cheyenne Tracy, Henry Tracy; Daniel Tracy, Jr., Jenna Tracy, Kiley Tracy, Ryan Tracy, Maddie Evans, Trevor Gestring, Jr. and Gerald Loftus. Rose loved her two granddogs Chanel and Cooper who filled her days with devotion, companionship and unconditional love. Rose was loved by many other family members and great friendships who were touched by her presence.
The family will gather to honor Rose’s memory with a visitation on March 22, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, located at 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive in St. Peters, Missouri. A visitation from 9:30 to 10:30 AM followed by a Mass celebrating her life will be held on March 23, 2026, at Saints Joachim & Ann Catholic Church, 4112 McClay Road, Saint Charles, Missouri. Following the service, a luncheon will take place at the church. A graveside ceremony will take place at 1:30 PM at Calvary Cemetery, 5239 West Florissant Avenue, St. Louis, Missouri.
Rose Marie Stotko at 97 years lived a long and full life embodied by grace, strength, and an unwavering devotion to her family. As her family and friends gather to remember her life, they carry forward the love and warmth she so generously shared.
