Sandra Ann Simmons, born on May 22, 1947, in St. Louis, Missouri, peacefully departed this life on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, in Manchester, Missouri. She was a beacon of cheer, renowned for her loving and child-like spirit that endeared her to everyone she met.
Raised in a nurturing environment, Sandra attended Mason Ridge Elementary School and later pursued her education at the Litzsinger School. Throughout her life, she displayed a profound affection for children, which resonated deeply within her family and community.
Sandra was a passionate fan of her favorite television show, NCIS, often found with her beloved NCIS mug, delighting in drinking from it as she enjoyed her shows. In addition to her love for NCIS, she also cherished old Westerns, embodying a sense of nostalgia and warmth in her leisure pursuits.
Her family fondly remembers her as a cheerful presence in their lives. Sandra is survived by her loving daughter Staci Simmons; sisters Veonia Webb and Jacqueline Webb; aunts Joan Gray, Joyce (Hunter) Davis, Beverly (Joe) Adaway, Kathryn Simmons, and Diane (Anthony) Simmons-Williams; uncle Clifford (Mattie) Simmons; and nieces and nephews Denise (Karanja) Kiburi, Sharon Webb, David Bonney, and Darnell (Dezarae) Webb.
Sandra was preceded in death by her mother Naomi W. Webb, and two brothers, James Webb and Joseph Webb.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Sandra’s life during visitation on Friday, July 25, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM, both taking place at the First Baptist Church of Ballwin, located at 206 Ries Road, Ballwin, Missouri 63021. Following the funeral services she will be laid to rest in Oak Hill Cemetery, Kirkwood, Missouri.
Her light will surely be missed, but her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
In keeping with her generous spirit, Sandra was a tissue donor, and her donation will help others. To honor her gift of life, memorial contributions may be made in Sandra's honor to Mid-America Transplant Society or to First Baptist Church of Ballwin.
