Scott Stone, born on June 10, 1970, in St. Louis, Missouri, passed away on his 56th birthday, June 10, 2026. A man whose vibrant spirit and genuine kindness left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him, Scott lived a full and meaningful life.
Scott was a proud member of Local 660, serving as a dedicated laborer. He took great pride in his work, which reflected a commitment to excellence and a love for what he did. His career was not just a means to an end but a source of identity and fulfillment. Before his professional endeavors, Scott graduated from Francis Howell High School and furthered his education at Motorcycle Mechanic School in Florida, blending his passion for motorcycles into his vocational path.
Known for his warm personality, Scott was truly a friend to all and never met a stranger. He was the life of any gathering, embracing every moment with enthusiasm and joy. Scott’s love extended deeply to his family, particularly his grandchildren, whose lives he cherished and enriched with his unwavering affection.
Scott’s interests reflected his adventurous soul. He loved motorcycles and riding, the open road calling to him as a place of freedom and exhilaration. His truck was another beloved companion, accompanying him on spontaneous mini vacations and countless outings. The water was a special sanctuary, especially during the summer months, when Scott found joy in spending time surrounded by nature’s beauty. Restlessness was a hallmark of his character; he simply didn’t sit still for long, always seeking new experiences and adventures.
Scott is survived by his mother, Carol Stone; his significant other, Robbin Southerly; his two sons, Alex and Brenndan; his sister, Candy Smothers; and six grandchildren—Max, Emmitt, Eli, Dallas, Bristol, and Lincoln—who carry forward his legacy of love and liveliness. Additionally, he is remembered by a host of other family members and friends who treasured his companionship and spirit.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Derek Morris, whose memory Scott held dear.
Scott Stone’s life was a testament to the power of kindness, enthusiasm, and dedication. His presence brought light and laughter to many, his work ethic and passion inspired those around him, and his love for family anchored him through all seasons. He will be profoundly missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of sharing in his journey.
