Sean Jamison Rademeyer, 48, of St. Peters, Missouri passed away on May 2, 2026. He leaves behind a family who loved him deeply and a life that touched many.
Sean was born on October 11, 1977 in St. Louis, Missouri to Daniel and Pamela Rademeyer. He was a little, tow-headed boy with crystal blue eyes who absolutely adored being in nature. He was so skinny, he was called “bones” when he was little. His smile lit up the world and brought joy to whomever was around. As he continued to grow, he was fascinated by plants and animals. He was always bringing home some variety of small animals that he found in the woods. He often brought home snakes or birds- and one time a baby skunk. He enjoyed snakes the best and when he started driving a car, he was known to stop traffic to get out to capture one on the road. “Bones” grew up to be a very strong and powerful man with a wonderful smile and of course the beautiful eyes.
Sean will be remembered for how hard he worked during his lifetime. When he was 20 years old, he built a million-dollar turf and landscaping company through sheer grit and determination. He remained in the turf business all his life and was greatly admired and respected for his knowledge and expertise. Recently, he found much happiness and solace from helping people suffering from emotional problems or addictions. Sean would often drop whatever he was doing and spend hours counseling others. He recently began sharing his expertise and knowledge on a national podcast. Sean always felt that helping people through suffering was his true calling in life. Sean also had an intense interest in Science and the study of the universe. All of his knowledge in these areas came from self-study, and he often wished his paternal grandfather was still alive so they could converse deeply on these subjects.
Sean is survived by his parents and two brothers, Joel (Marcy) Rademeyer and Brant (Dawn) Rademeyer. He is also survived by his three children Heidi (fiance Hunter) Ava and Max Rademeyer as well as his niece, Annabel, and his nephews, Graham and Sam Rademeyer. We all will carry his memory in our hearts every day.
Though his time here was far too short, Sean made a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him. He will be deeply missed and forever loved. He was often described as having “a good heart.”
A Public Visitation for Sean will be held on Saturday, May 16 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, MO 63376.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider making a contribution to Open Space STL, a non-profit dedicated to conserving and sustaining natural resources in the St. Louis area.
Forever in our hearts.
